UBTS (Ukrainian Baptist Theological Seminary) – educational establishment which provides students with higher theological education, trains skilled workers (Bachelor, Master) for system of Christian education and church ministry in Ukrainian Baptist Union.

A Word from the President of UBTS

Dear Brothers and Sisters, we are thankful to our Lord for such a wonderful opportunity to be able to study. Before Soviet Union times theological school existed in Galicia but when Soviet regime came to be, it’s existence ceased. Though rule of Soviet Union was long but it was not everlasting. In 2000 the school began to function again. Brothers from Ukraine and from Diaspora were initiators of this process.
Nowadays we can work for our people in spreading God’s Word, in training of ministers for local churches. Seminary is working actively in training of devoted ministers on God’s field. We strive to develop Ukrainian theology, to publish books in Ukrainian language, in order to help our people to meet the One, Who created them.
Slogan of our seminary is a text from Gospel of Mathew 10:25 “It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher…”.
We try to do our best to be like our Teacher and Lord and we teach our students to do so.
